Well perhaps not quite, however in place of the Annual Dinner in February 2021 our Chairman Julia has contacted Field and Fork at Chichester to arrange a French themed menu and the resident chef trained under Michel Roux at Le Gavroche and he has agreed to create a menu for us.
As there is uncertainty in what Covid restrictions might be in place in February 2021 it is not possible to organise a Dinner as The Friends of Chartres normally would.
The Chichester restaurant Field and Fork http://www.fieldandfork.co.uk offer a takeaway menu service, the dishes after collection by members are heated through at home and the and the intention is that a ‘virtual dinner ‘ is held in your own home via Zoom.
